Original Story: Sad news for Gears fans hoping to jump into the first downloadable content for Gears of War 3 today: Epic Games has announced that the Horde Command Pack DLC has been delayed due to "a technical issue".

"The scheduled Horde Command Pack release for Gears of War 3 is temporarily delayed due to a technical issue," said Community Manager Will Kinsler on the game's official forums. "We apologize to those of you who are anxiously awaiting to play. We know this is disappointing news as we’ve seen a lot of posts today showing excitement for this content. We have folks working around the clock to resolve this issue ASAP so you can all play and enjoy the Command Pack."

Currently there's no indication on how long the delay could be, but in all likelihood the DLC pack will now only release next week Tuesday. We'll update this post as soon as we hear more though.
