Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Get ready to get your chainsaw carnage on as Microsoft has announced that Epic Games' highly anticipated sequel Gears of War 3 will launch worldwide on 20 September.

Gears of War 3 was originally meant to release in April, however, was later delayed to "make it the marquee title for the holiday season".

No release date for the multiplayer beta yet, but hopefully we'll hear more on that at Microsoft's pre-GDC conference tomorrow.
