Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft has officially announced a Gears of War 'ultimate edition' of sorts, packaging the first two titles in the series as well as the Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection in the Gears of War Triple Pack, slated for a US release on 15 February.

At a recommended retail price of just $29.99 (R240), the Triple Pack offers impressive value to those new to the Gears universe, but local gamers shouldn't get too excited. According to a Microsoft SA representative the Gears of War Triple Pack is not destined for South African shores, and is currently US only. If the situation changes we will let you know, but for now, consider this one strictly import only.
