Ubisoft has just announced the next up in its roster of Tom Clancy games that have nothing much at all to do with Tom Clancy anymore, with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier:
Created by the award-winning team behind Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, the game will feature cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will go beyond the core Ghost Recon franchise and deliver a fresh gameplay experience, with an unparalleled level of quality that will excite long-time fans and newcomers alike.
A "state-of-the-art single-player mode"? What does that even mean? Oh well, Advanced Warfighter was fun, so here's to some more of that.
Gamers who purchase Splinter Cell: Conviction will be given access to an exclusive Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer beta going out in sometime in the mid-year, with the full release to follow worldwide this Holiday 2010.
