Anyone who's played Diablo, or perhaps - more recently - Borderlands knows how it goes: more players equals tougher enemies. And Halo: Reach is playing the same game. According to Kotaku's preview, adding more players in campaign mode makes enemies significantly harder to kill - they'll be smarter, have increased damage resistance, and generally make sure that getting past them is no simple matter. Bungie's Brian Jarrad promises that, on Legendary difficulty, Halo: Reach's enemies will be the most devious bastards in any Halo game ever. I can only imagine the game's inevitable Vidmaster Classic achievement is going to take some serious effort.
The preview also pointed out that the space battle seen at E3 is the game's only space battle, and that no space ships will turn up in multiplayer. Sadface, indeed.
Finally, you can play apparently as a girl SPARTAN in Halo: Reach if that's your thing. No confirmation as yet whether she's packing special edition Mjollnir boob armour, though.
