Update: A Microsoft SA representative has since stated that the console bundle release may be delayed by a few weeks.

Microsoft SA has confirmed that the super sexy Halo: Reach Limited Edition console bundle will launch day and date with the game on 14 September for R3999. The bundle features all things Halo: Reach, such as an exclusive Reach-branded Xbox 360 S console with custom sound effects, two custom controllers, a wired headset, and of course, the game.

Designed by Bungie, the Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Halo: Reach” Bundle includes all the features of the newly designed Xbox 360 console, such as a 250 GB Hard Drive and the fastest built-in Wi-Fi. The bundle is available in limited quantities and only while supplies last, so fans who want to own a piece of the “Halo” mythology are encouraged to pre-order quickly.

Alternatively, fans can still express their allegiance with a custom Halo: Reach controller or wireless headset, which will be sold separately at retailers for R599 and R399 each, respectively.

Meanwhile, the standard edition of the game is RRPed at R699, the Limited Edition at R799, and the Legendary Edition at R1299. Some online retailers are already listing all editions at somewhat lower prices, however.
