Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Update: Microsoft SA has confirmed that we will get the bundle and accessories locally, with pricing and release dates TBC a RRP of R3999.

Original Story: Microsoft has just yanked the covers off a gorgeous limited edition silver Halo: Reach-branded Xbox 360 S 250GB bundle. Launching the same day as Halo: Reach (14 September), the bundle includes a standard copy of the game, two custom controllers, a token for the Limited Edition Elite armor set, an episode of Halo Legends and a themed Xbox 360 wired headset.

In addition to the bundle, Limited Edition Halo: Reach wireless controllers (which comes with a Covenant Banshee Avatar token) and wireless headsets will also be available separately from 3 September, with a recommended retail price of £39.99 and £34.99 respectively.

No confirmation yet whether we'll see these locally, though. We've sent word to Microsoft South Africa and will let you know as soon as we do.
