Retailers price Halo: Reach Limited & Legendary Edition in South Africa [Update]

Update: Microsoft SA has confirmed that the RRP given below is correct, and that all upcoming Xbox 360 game releases will include LIVE content.

Original Story: While Microsoft SA has been tight lipped regarding pricing for the highly anticipated shooter Halo: Reach in South Africa, local retailers have started to list all three editions, including the extravagant Legendary Edition, along with pricing.

According to Take 2, the standard edition will retail for a suggested RRP of R699, the Limited Edition at R799, and the Legendary Edition at R1299, which is on par with UK pricing. Of course, if you purchase your copy from a decent online retailer such as Take 2 or Kalahari you can expect to pay far less than that, with Kalahari advertising a R1109.66 price tag for the Legendary Edition, R672.26 for the Limited Edition, and R585.86 for the standard.

Unfortunately, none of the limited editions are being advertised with DLC (though BT Games are offering an "in-game Spartan Recon Helmet" pre-order incentive on the standard edition), which backs up the statement we received last week from a Microsoft representative who stated that "Live content will only be obtainable once Live is launched in SA – very soon after the launch of Fable 3". That unofficial Xbox LIVE status continues to haunt us.

So, what version of Halo: Reach will you be getting come launch day on 14 September?
