Halo: Reach is just a few weeks away now, and Microsoft aren't about to let anyone forget. Last night, Microsoft officially unveiled the RememberReach.com website which gives Halo fans the opportunity to commemorate those fallen heroes from Noble Team and the planet Reach through the creation of a 'monument of light'. Kinda like the world map seen in Halo 3's match making, but without the empty space in Africa, and a big robotic arm placing the light points. Talking of Africa, it looks like Microsoft forgot about us yet again, so you'll have to choose either United States or United Kingdom if you want to contribute a light point.
In addition to the the monument, the site plays host to a collection of new live-action shorts that take an intimate look at the lives of the inhabitants of Reach before all hell breaks loose with the arrival of the Covenant. The shorts come from the same guy behind the excellent Birth of a Spartan live-action short, Noam Murro, and once again delivers a stellar piece of film for Halo fans. Be sure to look out for the premier of his next live-action short, entitled Deliver Hope, this Thursday, 26 August.
Halo: Reach is set to invade retail stores world wide on 14 September.
Update: Added the 'Remember Reach' live-action short below:
