Bungie has announced that the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta will begin on 3 May 2010. As announced last year, to be part of the action you'll need to own a copy of Halo 3: ODST.

Although details on the beta are still under wraps, Bungie has released a few new screenshots including a first look at the multiplayer level, Powerhouse. Bungie describe it as follows:

Utility and economy spurred industry amidst these isolated and unforgiving badlands, but like all infrastructure facilities on Reach, this hydroelectric site is under the purview of the UNSC war machine. All threats to the continued, predictable operation of humanity's final line of defense must be met with swift and decisive force.

... and tea bagging. Start sharpening those skills, May is just around the corner!
