Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft is getting into the festive spirit with a series of holiday specials and new content coming to Xbox LIVE throughout December, starting with a whole lot of Christmas themed Avatar items available right now.

Besides the usual Deals of the Week (I'll get to those in a minute), Microsoft will also be offering special 'one day only' deals every day from 18 December right up to the last day of the year. With no advanced schedule for the deals, you'll have to keep an eye on Xbox LIVE each day to see what's on special.

The aforementioned Deals of the Week for the rest of December are as follows:

• Week of 14 December: Lips: Coldplay Track Pack for 240MSP
• Week of 21 December: Shadow Complex for 800MSP
• Week of 28 December: The Maw for 400MSP

Along with all those great deals, there will also be two new additions to the XBLA:

• December 16: Alien Breed Evolution (Episode 1) for 800 Microsoft Points
• December 23: Trials HD BIG PACK! for 400 points
