Over the weekend, leaked Modern Warfare 2 gameplay footage found its way onto the internet and showed off what looked like a new third-person mode. Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has since stepped up and confirmed that Modern Warfare 2 will indeed feature a third-person option.

Bowling went on to describe the mode as a playlist option, which will only be available in private matches and specially designated playlists. So you don't have to worry about some players having an unfair advantage due to their view, and it also means that the standard playlists will be unaffected.

A trailer showing off the new feature is expected out soon, but if you can't wait, and would rather watch grainy and out of focus cam footage, then head on over here and click the Spoiler button.
