Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Just ahead of the Spike TV Video Game Awards this weekend, Activision has put up a promotional "Murder Your Maker" website and teaser trailer for an upcoming title. Let's see - we've got New York City, headlines about the "INFECTED", pustulent red tentacle-tree things, monsters, and a guy who might or might not be Alex Mercer. Prototype 2? Probably.

Despite some lacklustre visuals and repetitive gameplay, the first Prototype was a pretty decent sandboxer, and managed to grab a 79 aggregate over on Metacritic. A sequel was kind of inevitable.

The VGAs are happening on Saturday, 11 December, so expect confirmation then. In the meantime, check out the teaser website over here, along with the trailer below:
