After much rumour and speculation, Activision has revealed their upcoming Bond game, James Bond 007: Blood Stone. Developed by racing veterans Bizarre Creations, James Bond 007: Blood Stone is set to bring third person cover-based firefights, hand-to-hand combat and "explosive adrenaline-fuelled" driving sequences to the Xbox 360 when it lands later this year.
"James Bond 007: Blood Stone captures the cinematic intensity of a Bond film by immersing players in an intriguing conspiracy that will require them to think and act like James Bond," said head honcho of marketing for licensed properties at Activision Publishing, David Pokress. "In addition, the game will feature a diverse array of multi-player modes and debut strategic objective-based gameplay that will allow Xbox 360, PS3TM and PC players to battle as teams of spies and mercenaries through authentic Bond locales."
Utilizing the 007 license to the fullest, players can also expect to see the likeness and voice talents of Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and accredited hottie Joss Stone, along with an original story by screenwriter Bruce Feirstein.
James Bond 007: Blood Stone is set to hit retail stores this Holiday season.
