According to Megarom, the reason for the early release is due to "immense pressure and enthusiasm from fans and retailers alike," although if rumours are to be believed, it may be due to a few retailers breaking street date.

Either way, local gamers can finally get their hands no Sidhe's Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge, with time to spare for the Rugby World Cup which kicks off this Friday in New Zealand.
