Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Rumours abounded of a Star Wars themed Xbox 360 bundle that will launch with the upcoming Kinect Star Wars game, and now Microsoft has made it official: a Limited Edition 320GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle, inspired by R2-D2 and C-3PO, will be out in stores this Holiday.

The bundle will include the following goodies:

• Kinect Star Wars game
• Custom R2-D2-themed Xbox 360 Console with custom sounds (listen to them over here: Power on and Tray eject, courtesy of MajorNelson)
• White Kinect Sensor
• Custom C-3PO-themed Xbox 360 Wireless Controller
• 320 GB Hard Drive
• Xbox 360 Wired Headset
• Kinect Adventures game
• Exclusive downloadable content

The Xbox 360 Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars bundle is set to retail for $449.99 (R3200) in the US, with local availability and pricing still to be confirmed.

Update: A Microsoft SA representative has confirmed with XboxGaming that South Africa will be getting the Star Wars themed Xbox 360 Kinect console bundle this Holiday, with exact dates and pricing to be confirmed at a later date.
