The living dead are on the rise once again, and it's up to you and three other survivors to cut them down in a storm of bullets. Yes folks, Left 4 Dead 2 is releasing later this month, and to make sure you're well prepared, Valve has made the 2GB demo available to all Gold members over Xbox LIVE Marketplace:

The Left 4 Dead 2 demo features gameplay taken from "The Parish" campaign, set in the New Orleans French Quarter. Here lurk all the new boss infected zombies, but you’ve the new range of melee weapons to hand – chainsaws, frying pans, axes, baseball bats, and more.

Sound good? Well then, fire up those chainsaws, it's killing time!
