Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Lionhead Studios have got something up their collective sleeve, but what that could be is anyone's guess right now. In case you missed it, yesterday they had a little teaser splash page on their website with an image of Che Guevara and a quote that read "At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love". Below that was a 'thumbs-up' and 'thumbs-down' link. Oh, and a big suspicious '6' in the background.

Today they have the French revolutionary Maximilien Robespierre, and a quote saying "Terror is only justice: prompt, severe and inflexible; it is then an emanation of virtue; it is less a distinct principal than a natural consequence of the general principal of democracy, applied to the most pressing wants of the country". Again there are the 'thumbs-up' and 'thumbs-down' links, which take you to either a 'Followers' or 'Subjects' version of the homepage. And this time there is a big '5' in the background.

My spidey-sence is telling me that this is a countdown to a game announcement of sorts at GamesCom 2009 next week, and I'd have to assume it's something to do with a revolution. For now we'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

In the meantime, does anyone care to hazard a guess which historical character will grace tomorrow's teaser? My money is on Master Chief.
