The inhabitants of Albion have always held a special place in the hearts of many Fable fans, and this year it's going to be extra special for those who pre-order the game thanks to the Fable 3 Villager Maker - a tool which allows players to create their very own personalized villager to join them in-game in Fable 3.

Fans can utilize the tool to create a male or female villager with more than 2,000 different variations, including an enthralling backstory for the character, unique personality traits, clothing, accent, hairstyles and the region they hail from. Whether you create a valiant ally, an evil villain, or perhaps the perfect spouse, let your imagination run free as you make your mark in the fantastical world of Fable III.

Once you've created your villager you can share him/her with friends through Facebook and Twitter, and even download your creation as a desktop wallpaper. Anyone can start designing a character by heading over to the Fable 3 Villager Maker page, however, only those who receive the pre-order bonus code will be able to import their villager into Fable 3 and receive an exclusive quest to go along with it.

With Xbox LIVE launching "this Holiday" in South Africa, it's not yet known whether local retailers will be participating in the pre-order bonus promotion, however, XG has contacted Microsoft SA to clarify. Hopefully that rumoured 26 October Xbox LIVE launch date is spot on. Quite a coincidence that it coincides with the Fable 3 launch date. Well, the international one anyways. Expect it locally on that Friday, 29 October.
