Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Capcom's upcoming action shooter, Lost Planet 2, has apparently been substantially reduced to fit onto the Xbox 360's 8.54 GB DVD.

"This time, truly, the content that was cut was significant," said game producer Jon Takeuchi in a recent interview, reports Kotaku, "and at the end, we had to wrestle with disc space."

He suggested, however, that the chucked content could turn up later as presumably premium DLC, meaning everyone wins in the end... actually, just Capcom.
