Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft has deployed a new mandatory system update for the Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE, although don't expect any new features just yet.

"This is a general system maintenance update and there are no new features that will show up once your system has been updated," said Microsoft's Larry Hryb on his blog.

The update is likely readying the system for the upcoming new dashboard overhaul, which will add new features such as cloud storage, voice search, additional Xbox TV services, and a more Kinect-integrated user interface, when it lands sometime this November.
