Xbox Gaming in South Africa

The Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition has been delayed until next week in South Africa according to a forum post by local retailer, Take 2. The delay has been attributed to a distribution delay in Europe, specifically Poland. This may have something to do with rumours of a misprint/typo on the Dark Horse Comic Issue #1 Edition which is included in the Collector's Edition.

At this point, most local retailers expect stock to arrive on Monday, 1 February, so unfortunately those looking to Fight for the Lost this weekend with their fancy Collector's Edition, will have an agonising wait until Monday, at the earliest.

We've contacted EA South Africa and are awaiting feedback regarding the delay.

[UPDATE] EA South Africa has gotten back to us, confirming the delay and saying that their logistics team are working hard on getting the title into stores as soon as possible. Unfortunately, they were unable to confirm the exact date when the Collector's Edition will be available in stores, but hopefully it won't be later than Monday.
