Xbox Gaming in South Africa

The year has barely begun, and already we have a possible candidate for Game Of The Year 2010, with Electronic Arts announcing today that Mass Effect 2 has surpassed the 2 million sales mark in its first week.

The epic sci-fi shooter/RPG is on the receiving end of all kinds of critical acclaim, earning a massive 96 Metacritic score, the highest ever for an Xbox 360 title.

Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder of BioWare and Group General Manager of the RPG/MMO Group of EA had this to say, "Mass Effect 2 is poised to be one of the biggest games of 2010. We could not be more proud of the game’s universal acclaim and early commercial success."
