Mass Effect 3 arrives 6 March 2012, Collector's Edition revealed

Electronic Arts has announced that their epic action-RPG Mass Effect 3 will arrive in retailers worldwide on 6 March 2012.

Mass Effect 3 will see Commander Shepard leading one last counter attack against the ancient alien race known as the "Reapers", who've launched an all-out invasion of the galaxy. Mass Effect 3 will also include Kinect support for voice commands, which you can see in action over here.

"With Mass Effect 3, we are delivering blockbuster action and heart-wrenching emotion on a scale that far exceeds anything we’ve ever done before," said Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series. "This is an all-out galactic war and how you choose to lead and play will ultimately determine how – and if – you can save the galaxy."

Also announced last night at E3 2011 was the Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition, which is set to include all the goodies needed to save the galaxy in style, including:
