Earlier this week, BioWare finally confirmed and detailed one of the worst kept secrets in gaming: Mass Effect 3 will have multiplayer. And now thanks to a new trailer and screenshots, we can finally get our first glimpse of the new mode in action.
Check out the developer diary below with Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series, Casey Hudson, as he talks us through the new 4-player online co-op mode, and how it integrates into the overall Mass Effect experience.
Along with the new media, EA confirmed that Mass Effect 3's multiplayer will require an Online Pass for multiplayer - provided free as a one-time redeemable code with all new games - and that players will have a choice of 6 different races when playing in co-op: Human, Krogan, Asari, Drell, Salarian and Turian.
Mass Effect 3 will be out in stores on 6 March 2012.
