Konami has announced at their pre-E3 showcase this moring that three legacy titles from Hideo Kojima's classic Metal Gear Solid series, traditionally one of Sony's most prominent exclusive franchises, are coming to the Xbox 360 in the way of the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection.
The MGS HD Collection will include shiny new 1080p remasterings of the PS2 classics MGS 2: Sons of Liberty and MGS 3: Snake Eater, as well as the PSP hit MGS: Peace Walker, all running at 60fps.
For the previously PSP-only Peace Walker, Konami has promised more than just a simple port, according to CVG, saying that "many of its assets have been remade so that the feel of the game is 'completely new', including dual analogue controls and reworked audio and visuals."
The Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection is set to release this November 2011.
