Microsoft in talks over possible Xbox LIVE TV channel [Rumour]

Xbox LIVE TV

Former News Corp. President Peter Chernin has held talks with Microsoft regarding a possible TV channel for Xbox LIVE, according to Bloomberg. The channel would offer "reruns and original shows" to LIVE subscribers for an additional $1 - $2 above the standard LIVE subscription fee, and would be aimed at the main demographic of Xbox LIVE users, namely young males – Playboy Mansion anyone?

As usual Microsoft has remained silent on the rumour, but with Microsoft’s well known aim to own your entertainment space through downloadable movies, customisable music playlists and social networking applications, a service offering like this can only be a matter of time.
