Update: Microsoft has responded via G4TV, stating that "Syed Bilal Tariq is not a [Microsoft] employee... He is a vendor employed through a third-party company on behalf of the Microsoft subsidiary in Saudi Arabia."
Microsoft also wouldn't comment on the alleged October release. Though, when a company doesn't try and dubunk a rumour in the gaming industry, it normally means it's true. Until E3 2010, then.
Original Story: Well, of all the unlikely sources for this one, Marketing Manager of Entertainment and Devices for Microsoft in Saudi Arabia has revealed that Project Natal will launch world wide in October 2010.
"I do have great news to share with everybody," said Syed Bilal Tariq. "Project Natal will be launched in Saudi Arabia and in the world... that is going to be somewhere in October. We will be in a position to confirm the date after E3, which is in June. But definitely, it is going to be October 2010 - and we will have it in Saudi Arabia for sure."
So, official confirmation next month, and launch in October. You heard it on Saudi TV first!
