Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft made a big noise about the fact that the first two map packs for Modern Warfare 2 would be timed exclusives for the Xbox 360. It has now been revealed that Xbox 360 gamers will get hold of the two DLC packs 30 days before everyone else.

"We have a 30-day timed exclusive on the Modern Warfare content packs. So it will be available on other platforms, but you get to try and play on Xbox 360 first," said a Microsoft spokesperson in an article at Eurogamer.

When it comes to a game as ridiculously popular as Modern Warfare 2, exclusives like this can make a big impact on sales, with gamers desperate to try the new content as soon as humanly possible.

No official date for the release of the DLC packs, but we can apparently expect the first to arrive sometime this Autumn.
