Project Natal's input lag has been a hot topic since the motion controller was unveiled at least year's E3 event. And with recent demonstrations showing no sign of improvement, many fear the input lag will continue through to the final product. Peter Molyneux has jumped to the peripheral's defence, however, claiming that "countless" revisions to the hardware and software mean that the version currently being demoed has already been "exceeded many times over".
"So very often you get a position that what a person's looking at is two, three, four months, a year old and you kind of want to go, 'no, no, it's 10 times better than that!'" he told GI.biz.
There's no Natal presentation scheduled for GDC later this week, but the 'Neux's doing a panel discussion on intuitive game design, so perhaps it'll turn up there.
