More Borderlands DLC about to drop

Gearbox's Mikey Neumann is such a tease. It started with a twitter post last night:

Are you guys ready for some Borderlands news?

Then a bit later:

I think some little birdies might sing in or around an hour (or possibly beatbox, erhm, chirpbox?) We got some new stuff to show :D

Then sometime after that:

I'm afraid I have some sad news. The birdy which would have tweeten, has been absent and will tweeter forth to announce at a later occasion

Heartbreaker! What luck we have nice things like hackers and people who can't mind their own business, though, because someone's dug up the PS3 trophy list:

  • Bronze
    • Small Tournament - Completed the lesser challenge in all 3 coliseums
  • Silver
    • Hell-Burbia - Completed the larger challenge in the Hell-Burbia coliseum
    • The Angelic Ruins - Completed the larger challenge in The Angelic Ruins coliseum
    • The Gully - Completed the larger challenge in The Gully coliseum
  • Gold
    • Big Tournament - Completed each of the larger challenges in all 3 coliseums

And finally, some random people over at Fragland got the full scoop somehow - it's apparently called Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, and it's some sort of arena brawl extravaganza. With loads of guns, obviously. It's coming 29 December, and priced at 800 off-world scavenger tokens, and guess what? It's said to also include several storage spaces where you can safely store all your favorite weapons without having to sell them. How awesome is that?!

Check out the screenshot below which is supposedly from the new DLC:
