Capcom has announced that the latest installment in the MotoGP series will hit stores across Europe on 19 March, with a free update for all the 2010 season content (including the new Silverstone track) available shortly afterwards.
While I'll admit to being biased towards four-wheel racing action, the idea of taking on up to 19 other bikers online in MotoGP 09/10 makes me want to hop onto a fire-breathing Ducatti and open up that throttle.
The robust online mode will give gamers the chance to vote for the circuit, bike class and number of laps before they take to the track and compete in an online Arcade race or Career mode championship. Once the race comes to an end it's over to the online leaderboards to see where you rank against the rest of the world.
If you aren't sure whether that sounds like your idea of a good time, Capcom has also revealed that there will be a demo of MotoGP 09/10 at some point before the launch date.
