By now we all know that nothing stays secret for very long in this industry. So it should come as no surprise that some interesting info has been leaked from a Microsoft 'behind closed doors' tour, aimed at increasing publisher support for Project Natal.
In a report by MCV, unnamed sources let slip that Microsoft's eagerly awaited motion controller device will launch in November 2010. In addition, Microsoft plans to have 5 million units ready to roll on day one, including stand-alone units and console bundles. There will also be 14 titles available on launch. And the price tag? Around £50 (R650). This is slightly more than the $50 price tag suggested by industry experts last month, but still competitive in respect to Xbox 360 hardware.
No official response has been issued regarding the leaked information, and if it's true, we likely won't get one. So we'll just have to leave this one in the rumour bin until Microsoft is ready to unveil their plans.
