Criterion Games has announced that the upcoming Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will be getting the Limited Edition treatment, adding six more high-powered racers to the roster to give gamers the edge from day one.

The Hot Pursuit Limited Edition, which is set to retail for the same price as the standard edition, will give gamers early access to the Audi TT RS Coupé, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Porsche Cayman S and Dodge Challenger SRT8, as well as exclusive access the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and Ford Shelby GT500. If beating your friends and foes from the word go is important to you, you'll want these beasts in your garage come release day.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is set to race into local retailers on 19 November.
