Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Remedy Entertainment has released the first screenshot for the upcoming Alan Wake downloadable game, rumoured to be titled Alan Wake's Night Springs (the same name of the TV show which made an appearance in the original retail game).

Little is known about this new XBLA game, but Remedy's Community Manager Peter Papadopoulos promised that it will be "structured like a full release complete with a pretty damn impressive storyline that expands the originals in some interesting ways." Sounds intriguing.

Check out the first screenshot below which shows off Alan Wake 15 miles away from the town of Night Springs, peering down a road with what looks like a nail gun. Perhaps we'll see Alan Wake trying to make it to Night Springs using his trusty flashlight, and whatever else he can find, to dispatch any nasties that get in his way.

Expect more information on the new Alan Wake XBLA game at this year's Spike TV's Video Game Awards on 10 December.
