Hot on the heels of the announcement that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood sold over 6.5 million copies, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot has confirmed that the next instalment in the Assassin’s Creed series will be announced in May.
"We will have an Assassin's Creed this year... We are going to give you more details in May," said Guillemot in an investors call earlier today.
Little is known about the next Assassin's Creed, but Guillemot did confirm that it will be a "packaged title" (i.e. retail), and is expected to be released in the publisher's next financial year which kicks off in April.
