Hidden away in the latest financial report from Ubisoft is a quiet, entirely understated little announcement - there's a new Assassin's Creed coming in before the end of fiscal 2010. So that's March or April 2011. And - somewhat controversially, perhaps - it will be introducing online multiplayer. Assassin versus Templar deathmatch? Team assassin infiltration co-op? Assassin mercenaries mode? Obviously no hard info on any of that yet, but no doubt Ubisoft will have more to say about it all soon enough.
