Lionhead's Peter Molyneux announced a brand new Fable game at tonight's E3 briefing, revealing Fable: The Journey - a Kinect-controlled adventure game played out in a first-person perspective.
The story is set five years after the events of Fable III, and will see players take "a magical journey" with only your loyal horse at your reins, along with Theresa - the creepy blind lady with mystical powers - as you once again have to overcome a malevolent evil that threatens to consume all of Albion.
Unlike previous games, The Journey will utilize the powerful Unreal Engine, which Molyneux believes will help deliver a a more "beautiful, vivid and unique world":
"In using the Unreal Engine with its excellent tools for crafting cinematic in-game experiences, it allows our developers to focus on the quality and uniqueness of Fable: The Journey," said Molyneux. "Already we are seeing a more beautiful, vivid and unique world full of dramatic moments and have crafted new, never seen before gameplay experiences."
