Well Infinity Ward is trying to fix that, according to a Tweet by Community Manager Robert Bowling, with a new playlist update rolling out specifically aimed at improving matchmaking in 'remote regions' - so everywhere but America then.

"Pushed a playlist update today. Should improve #MW3 matchmaking for players in remote regions. Have feedback? Reply to: http://fzt.me/mw3matchmaking," tweeted Bowling.
