South African online and mobile social media company, Zoopy, has recently launched its very own gaming TV show, GameState. Hosted online at Zoopy.com, the crew from Zoopy TV, lead by gaming journo Grant Hinds, intend to bring the "hottest, freshest, irreverent gaming related content from news, reviews, previews, trailers and skits" to local gamers with their new show.

Internet usage is growing at a rapid rate in South Africa and has played a big role in the rise of videogames and videogaming online culture in South Africa. As such, many serious and casual gamers alike have been accessing the net via their computers, consoles and cellphones not only to play videogames, but also to view relevant gaming content. Since this market is searching the net for information on games and are playing these games online. Zoopy is taking the opportunity to give this market a complete online local show that will cater to all their needs.
