Xbox Gaming in South Africa

The upcoming Xbox 360 dashboard update is set to roll out to the masses on Tuesday, 6 December 2011, according to a report by Kotaku [and now officially confirmed by Microsoft].

The new dashboard - which is currently in a public beta - features a new look (codenamed "Metro"), along with a host of a new features, including cloud storage for game saves and Xbox LIVE profiles, expanded Kinect support on the dashboard and integrated social sharing options through Facebook and Xbox LIVE Beacons.

The update will also make way for a multitude of new TV entertainment services, however, so far only YouTube has been confirmed for South Africa.
