Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Codemasters has announced that their tactical military shooter Operation Flashpoint: Red River will hit retailers in Europe, Middle East and Africa starting 21 April, followed by North America on 26 April.

While South Africa obviously falls in the EMEA region, we suspect the local release will only be that Friday, 22 April, at the earliest.

To celebrate the announcement, Codemasters has also released a new gameplay biography which introduces us to Corporal Ryan Balletto, an Auto Rifleman in Fireteam Bravo, and a soldier who's apparently "no loose cannon"... but, well, you'll have to make your own mind up.
