Don't let that get you down, folks, because Ubisoft South Africa has confirmed with XG that the next installment in the popular Prince of Persia franchise will be in stores on 14 May.

Taking place between the story-lines of The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands sees the Prince defending his brother's kingdom from an army bent on its destruction. Expect an "epic adventure" filled with swordplay, crazy acrobatics, and sand in peoples picnic baskets.
