Prototype ships June 5, releases a week later

According to a recent press release, Activision has set a European shipping date of June 5 for their new open-world action game, Prototype. A release date was noticeably absent, however, Activision has since confirmed with both XG and Eurogamer that Prototype will go on sale a week later in Europe, on June 12.

Prototype should go on sale in South Africa on the same day barring any delays.

[UPDATE] XG received a confirmation from Activision regarding the official release date: "Prototype will be released in the UK on 12th June.". Great stuff.

this game is going to blow everyone's mind. But, they said it would come out in april, they must have added some really cool stuff to it. I can't wait!

YEAH!!! This game is going to R-O-C-K I can't wait I am getting June 9th ... It's going to be great game... yet they took out the co-op feature =(
