New Xbox.com Social Page

No more jumping through hoops or calling support - if you want out, you can now opt out through Xbox.com. Yup, the new update to Xbox.com this morning not only brought with it a bunch of new social features and a new look, it also included a new option to easily turn off the auto-renewal on your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership directly from Xbox.com.

Just follow the steps below:

  1. Go to My Account.
  2. Click Sign In (upper-right corner) and type your Windows Live ID information (if you’re not already signed in).
  3. Next to Automatic Renewal, click Change.
  4. Change your automatic renewal setting to OFF.

You Xbox LIVE membership will then expire at the end of your paid membership, and you won't have to worry about being automatically billed anymore. Easy peasy.
