Seems it’s not only mad preachers who get their dates wrong. id Software has updated the release date on the official site for the upcoming post-apocalyptic shooter, Rage, setting the new release date for 7 October - nearly a month later than its previously slated date of 16 September. Not to worry though, that still gives you more than enough time to kill mutants before the world ends on 21 October.

No reason was given for the delay, but one can only assume that id Software want a bit more time to polish the game.
