Xbox Gaming in South Africa

A 30-minute machinima short based on Red Dead Redemption and directed by John Hillcoat (director of The Road and The Proposition), is set to premiere on FOX network on Saturday night, according to Rockstar Games' website.

The unnamed short film "chronicles a slice-in-time of protagonist John Marston as he tracks down his former fellow outlaw and friend, Bill Williamson". The whole thing was made using in-game assets, possibly - but probably not - including Cougar Man and Donkey Lady.

While most of us won't be able to catch it over here, expect it posted all over YouTube about 30 minutes after airing.
