Xbox Gaming in South Africa

TimeGate Studios has announced that their recent Xbox LIVE Arcade shooter Section 8: Prejudice is getting rentable dedicated servers across the globe thanks to an exclusive partnership with GameServers.com.

GameServers.com recently added two South African hosting locations - Johannesburg and Cape Town - making Section 8: Prejudice the first Xbox 360 game to get true dedicated servers in South Africa.

Each dedicated server can be customized depending on the amount of players and extras, with prices ranging from $12.95 (R90) for 10-players, to $41.55 (R295) for the full 32-player support per month.

While it's great news that local Xbox 360 gamers can finally enjoy proper local dedicated servers (albeit at a price), there's still one glaring issue: Section 8: Prejudice isn't available on the South African Xbox LIVE Marketplace. So UK/US accounts for those interested.
