Market research firm FADE has announced that March 2010 has been the biggest financial month for Microsoft's Xbox LIVE Arcade, with revenues breaking the $10 million mark for the first time.
March 2010 saw year-on-year growth of a massive 41%, even after weaker than expected revenues for January and February this year. This is thanks to the successful Xbox LIVE Block Party promotion which boosted sales.
FADE has also compiled a top 10 showing off the most successful Arcade games by revenue, with Toy Soliders leading the pack with over $3 million in sales.
- Toy Soliders by Signal Games - 209,000 units ($15.00 USD)
- Perfect Dark by 4J Games - 161,000 units ($10.00 USD)
- Trials HD by RedLynx, LTD - 53,000 units ($15.00 USD)
- Battlefield 1943 by EA Dice - 37,000 units ($15.00 USD)
