Those expecting to pick up Resident Evil 5 this Friday will be disappointed to learn they'll have to wait until early next week.

Originally reported by LazyGamer, a Kalahari representative informed users of a local Xbox forum that the Resident Evil 5 release was delayed until the 16/17 March. Speaking today to David Botha, Product Manager at Nu Metro Interactive, he told me there's unlikely to be a change with those dates, with Resident Evil 5 expected in most retail outlets by March 17.

I'd better tell HR to postpone my day off this Friday...
